Commercial projects
Commercial stone that has to look good on night one and night one thousand.
Restaurants, bars, offices and multifamily buildings put stone through more than any home. We fabricate and install bar tops, tables and repeated unit kitchens, and we work to the general contractor's schedule.

What commercial work needs from a fabricator
- Volume
- Repeated pieces cut to the same standard, whether it's ten tables or forty unit kitchens.
- Schedule
- Templating and install dates set around the other trades, and a straight answer when something moves.
- Durability
- The right stone for the use: we'll tell you where marble makes sense and where quartz or granite is the safer call.
- One point of contact
- The same shop handles the stone from takeoff to install: one call for the GC, one team on site.

General contractors and builders: our builders page covers how to send plans for a takeoff.
Questions we get
What do you need to bid a commercial job?
The drawings and finish schedule, the stone or spec if it's chosen, quantities for repeated units, and the project schedule. Send what you have and we'll tell you what's missing.
Which stone holds up in a restaurant or bar?
Quartz and granite are the practical choices for heavy use. Marble looks beautiful on tables and bar tops but will etch from citrus, wine and cleaners, so it suits places that accept some patina.
Can you match units across a multifamily building?
Yes. Quartz is the easiest to keep consistent from unit to unit because it's made to a pattern. With natural stone we plan the slabs per unit so the variation is spread evenly.
